NREMT Psychomotor Exams at Trinity EMS Academy

**IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARAMEDIC CANDIDATES**
Beginning January 1, 2017, the NREMT implemented the new scenario-based psychomotor exam. In the new test model, paramedic candidates are tested on a total of 6 skills. Five skills from the traditional NRP Psychomotor Examination (Patient Assessment Trauma, Dynamic Cardiology, Static Cardiology, Oral Station Case A, Oral Station Case B) will be tested, with the addition of an Integrated Out-Of-Hospital Scenario.

Psychomotor Exam Information

Please read the information below, then click the program to choose the date of your exam.

If you are taking a full exam, the price is as listed. If you are taking a retest exam, the price is $35.00 per station to be retested, with the exception of the Paramedic Integrated Out-of-Hospital Scenario which is $50.00.  Candidates retesting 1 or more stations may pay your fee when you arrive the day of the exam.

Please be advised, if we are able to retest the day of the exam, the same day retest fee is $35.00 per station, with the exception of the Paramedic Integrated Out-of-Hospital Scenario which is $50.00.

If you will be paying using cash, please be sure to have the exact amount. We do not keep cash on hand at the school and may not have change.

Testing will begin at 9:00 AM. If you are not in the building at the time of rollcall, the National Registry representative may not allow you to test. Therefore, we advise all candidates to arrive between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Once rollcall begins, the National Registry representative on-site will be in charge of the testing.

Once testing begins, there will not be a lunch break. Candidates are encouraged to bring a lunch with them. A microwave and drink machines are available on-site for candidate use.  Snacks are provided for all candidates.

Please be aware, your Psychomotor Authorization To Test (PATT) number is a necessary part of the registration process for Advanced EMT and Paramedic candidates. It is necessary in order to place you on the NREMT reservation list for the testing. Without your correct PATT number, you will not be allowed to test. Please make sure you include it when you register!  If you are unsure how to obtain your PATT number, please get with your Program Director/Instructor prior to registering, or follow the directions located at  our Obtaining Your PATT Number page.
