Trinity EMS Academy presents the next step in the evolution of Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician training!

Trinity EMS Academy understands not all students learn best in a traditional classroom environment, and not all students can learn in a distance learning environment.  Trinity EMS Academy's new education platform offers both styles of learners the class format  they need and desire.  Join lectures in the classroom or from the comfort of your own home, whichever style best suits your needs. 

For the traditional classroom learner, the course is as any other.  The student comes to the classroom for lecture and has face to face access to the instructor.  Distance learning offers the student a classroom environment, however in a virtual, closed circuit  format.

This format allows the student the opportunity to have a truly interactive learning session from the comfort of their own home.  Questions may be asked of the instructor during the lecture and an answer received, all in real-time, just as in a physical classroom setting. Homework and other assignments will be completed in the MyLab Brady Learning Management System (LMS).  Some quizzes and assignments will be completed either via email or from the Trinity EMS Academy website.

Distance learning requires the student to have a strong, steady internet connection, as the course lectures are given by live instructors over Skype video conference. If you do not have Skype on your computer, you may download it here for FREE .  You may also get Skype for Android and iOS through the app store. 

Students will log in to the Skype classroom on predetermined dates, at predetermined times, for lecture and subsequent assignments.  Students are also allowed to switch between learning formats.  Come to the classroom for one date, join online for the next.  That's flexibility in learning!

Students are required, however to attend the physical classroom on predetermined dates and times for skills training and major exams.  These required dates are approximately every third class date.

While this is a Hybrid learning course, it is  NOT self-paced. Students are to adhere to the course schedule as prescribed.
