Combining the EMT and Advanced EMT Programs

Enrollment Requirements

  • Picture ID
  • GA EMT completion certificate or National Registry certification (for AEMT portion)
  • Current BLS CPR card (for AEMT portion)
  • 18-years-old by the end of the course
  • *Clinical background check through clinicalbackgrounds.com    
*Required by Midtown Medical Center for ER clinical rotation.

Immunizations

  • *Hep B 
  • *2 doses of MMR
  • *Tetanus within last 10 years
  • *TB test (within 1 year)
  • *Influenza vaccine (flu vaccine)
  • *Varicella vaccine (or proof of Chicken Pox disease)
*Required by Midtown Medical Center for ER clinical rotation.

EMT/AEMT Textbook Information

For the combination course, both the EMT and the Advanced EMT textbooks, with online access, will be needed. If the student wishes, they may purchase the EMT textbook package first, then purchase the Advanced EMT at a later date. However, the Advanced EMT textbook package is required for the Advanced EMT portion of the course.

Tuition Options and Fees

Three ways to pay for your course.

  • Option 1 - VA Education Benefits

    If you are eligible, and would like to use your VA Education Benefits, please bring a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to the school.  You may email it to bobby.trinity@outlook.com as well.  If you do not have a copy, you may obtain one by completing the request at https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/.  If you have previously used your benefits at another school, please go to https://www.va.gov/education/change-gi-bill-benefits/ and complete Forrm 22-1995 to change your school choice.  For any VA Education Benefits questions, contact the School Certifying Official (SCO), Bobby Funderburk at 706-940-0186.

    Registration fee: $40.00 (Non-refundable)

    Professional liability insurance: Included in tuition

    Lab fee: Included in tuition

    Please note: Students are responsible for the full amount of their tuition.  Any leftover tuition amounts after VA Education Benefits are paid will be the responsibility of the student.  Also, any student using Chapter 35 VA Education Benefits will be required to sign a monthly financial contract for the amount of their tuition.  Full course tuition, any accrued late fees, etc. must be paid in full before the student will be released to take their National Registry Cognitive Exam.​

  • Option 3 - Trinity Payment Plan

    (Cash, money order, Visa, Master Card, AMEX, Discover)


    Initial down-payment of $600.00 required (due on or before the first day/night of class), then 9 monthly payments of $377.78.

Some students may need to access a combination of these options. If you have applied for in-house financing and was not able to acquire the full amount needed for the course, contact the admissions office, and we'll discuss options with you.
